§ For yc-shaped startups

Maintenance for the YC-shaped startup with a shipped product.

The Demo-Day deck shows growth. The deck doesn't show that the production app is two Next.js majors behind, the dependency tree hasn't been touched since pre-batch, and the original CTO is on track to leave once they vest. Kebehut is the boring layer that keeps that hidden side of the story from blowing up during a partner meeting or a security review.

§ What worries this audience

Three things you're probably already feeling.

  1. A technical-debt question from an investor that you can't answer with evidence
  2. The CTO leaving after vesting and taking the last complete mental model with them
  3. Maintenance compounding quietly during a fundraise, when the team can't afford the distraction

§ Pilot fit

How a pilot is shaped for you.

Recommended tier Basic 60€ / month

Basic gives the founder a monthly written record that doubles as the answer to 'what is your technical debt'. Most YC-shaped teams stay on Basic through their first two rounds and only bump to Pro when an upgrade is on the calendar — usually right after a round closes.

First month — what lands in your inbox

  • Codebase inventory written for a non-engineer reader
  • Risk ranking the founder can use directly in a board update
  • A short action list that fits in one engineer's sprint
  • A rebuild-ready spec — useful when the next CTO joins

§ FAQ

Questions, briefly answered.

We're going through a fundraise. Can Kebehut help during diligence?
Yes — most often by being already in place. Diligence reads better when there is a multi-month written record of maintenance than when there is a panicked audit two weeks before the term sheet. Sign now, not when the SPA is on the table.
Our CTO doesn't want a third party in the codebase. Is that a deal-breaker?
Sometimes. If the CTO is the only person who can answer a maintenance question, that is itself the risk. Often the right move is to have the CTO sign off on the engagement so it strengthens their position, not weakens it.
Do you understand startup pace?
Skadi Oy is a small Helsinki software company that ships its own products. We are not an enterprise audit firm. The reports are short, the action lists are sprint-sized, and we don't add meetings.
